About
Born in rural Southwestern Ontario, Kit Trytten explores the intersections of gender, sexuality, disability and the human body through contemporary mixed media installations. They have a fascination with textiles and found objects, and how they can be incorporated into a new understanding of portraiture. They are currently studying textiles and garment production, with the aim of utilizing this medium in their future practice.
